A registered charity that works in partnership with the police to deliver an extensive range of youth programmes and activities.

The goals of Blue Light are to:

  • Reduce the incidence of young people becoming an offender or victim of crime.
  • Encourage better relations between the Police, young people, their parents, and the community.

Blue Light aims to assist the Police to achieve its youth and community objectives by providing proactive initiatives to meet a key target market.

It does this by providing young people with positive lifestyle alternatives and strategies to avoid becoming an offender or victim of crime.

Burnham Life Skills Camp
17 - 21 June
Join us on our upcoming Burnham Life Skills Camp offering a transformative experience where young people can gain leadership skills, create new friendships, obtain NCEA credits, learn employable skills and have fun!
Life Skills Camps
22 -26 July
Join us on our upcoming Life Skills Camps. We have camps coming up in July for Whenuapai, Burnham, and Taupo. These camps offer a transformative experience where young people can gain leadership skills.
Rainbows End Fun Days
7 & 8 September
Each year Blue Light staff from around the country bring young people from their communities to New Zealand's premier tourist attracting 'Rainbows End' for two days of action packed entertainment.
